Wallpaper by You is simply giving you the autonomy to create what will best suit your home. As a studio who hand make our wallpapers, we are able to quickly make creative changes. A service we have offered our professional partners over the last decade, we have now developed a simple digital platform for you to co-create with us. Once you have finalised your design, we print using super low VOC mineral derived paints on a responsibly sourced FSC paper base and hand screen print this for you, with the option of a sample before productio . Samples are 50cm x 70cm so can be used as a framed print or any cost of sampling will be deducted from your wallpaper order.

We work closely with a 300 year old mill in Sudbury, Essex. We have the utmost respect for their approach to making fabrics, their knowledge and experience and work closely with their team to develop our fabrics.
We use 100% hand picked Egyptian cotton that meets industry regulations for environmental safety, ethical production and the use of non - harmful chemicals. We blend the cotton with a Viscose flax, which stems from natural fibres and is processed in order to meet the qualities and abrasion required to satisfy European industry standards for both manufacture and use.
Our products are made locally to us in South East London in small batches so as much as we can, we reduce the movement of our items and the possibility of generating unnecessary energy and material waste.
Our cushions are filled with British wool, supporting the UK farming industry. Wool is naturally hypoallergenic and biodegradable, filled into an organic cotton inner pocket. Wool is lightweight but gives a firm and stable feel.

• Vitrified porcelain can be washed in a dishwasher - at a maximum temperature of 60°C. However, where precious metals are used ware should only be hand washed.
• Stubborn stains can be removed by soaking in a mild bleach solution for up to one hour without damaging the china. Scouring pads or abrasive washing agents must not be used. Soaking in warm water before washing will remove most stains or hardened on particles.
• When storing plates, try not to slide them over one another as this may cause tiny scratches in the glaze. We recommend a paper napkin is placed between each plate.
The Forest Hill Collection A collection of hand printed wallpapers, linens and velvets created in collaboration by South East London based design practices 2LG Studio and Custhom.
Designed as a series of floral textures creating layers for interiors - they were inspired by classic florals, re-imagining them for contemporary interiors and architectural spaces.
The collaboration seeded itself two years ago when 2LG began renovating their Forest Hill home and discovered a fragment of old floral wallpaper beneath several layers of paint and paper. They shared this moment with Custhom and it began to grow into a full collection as the tiny floral stayed in all of their minds.

Contour is a graphic exploration of line and movement drawn from the boundaries and divisions of sports courts. Custhom have heavily embroidered onto Kvadrat fabric. This bold variation on the Curve design can create a unique array of striking compositions when hung. The design combines deep British Racing Green and teal green set against pale grey background, highlighted with a metallic accent in copper. The focal point rests on the green layered triangles, offset with the grey negative space. The paper is hand silkscreen printed and has an grain print finish. The Contour stool has been made collaboratively with designer/maker Tom Collison. We really like Tom’s approach to creating organic, soft, comfortable forms and share his admiration of nature and respect for materials. We have long admired Tom's approach to working and saw this collaboration as an exciting opportunity to see what could be created collectively.
The stool is created using an Ash frame, sustainably sourced from an English timber merchants, hand carved and finished in Tom's London studio.

The contour design was developed after observing how people move, play and behave when adhering to the rules of the urban drawn line. This sparked our interest in exploring boundaries, visual communication and behaviour in recreational spaces. This inquiry resulted in Contour, a graphic exploration of line and movement, capturing the energy and playfulness of people navigating sports courts.

We use 100% hand picked Egyptian cotton that meets industry regulations for environmental safety, ethical production and the use of non - harmful chemicals. We blend the cotton with a Viscose flax, which stems from natural fibres and is processed in order to meet the qualities and abrasion required to satisfy European industry standards for both manufacture and use.
Our products are made locally to us in South East London in small batches so as much as we can, we reduce the movement of our items and the possibility of generating unnecessary energy and material waste.

• Stubborn stains can be removed by soaking in a mild bleach solution for up to one hour without damaging the china. Scouring pads or abrasive washing agents must not be used. Soaking in warm water before washing will remove most stains or hardened on particles.

The Forest Hill Collection A collection of hand printed wallpapers, linens and velvets created in collaboration by South East London based design practices 2LG Studio and Custhom.
Designed as a series of floral textures creating layers for interiors - they were inspired by classic florals, re-imagining them for contemporary interiors and architectural spaces.
The collaboration seeded itself two years ago when 2LG began renovating their Forest Hill home and discovered a fragment of old floral wallpaper beneath several layers of paint and paper. They shared this moment with Custhom and it began to grow into a full collection as the tiny floral stayed in all of their minds.

Our cushions are filled with British wool, supporting the UK farming industry. Wool is naturally hypoallergenic and biodegradable, filled into an organic cotton inner pocket. Wool is lightweight but gives a firm and stable feel.

The Oblique Bur stool has been made collaboratively with designer/maker Tom Collison. We really like Tom’s approach to creating organic, soft, comfortable forms and share his admiration of nature and respect for materials. We have long admired Tom's approach to working and saw this collaboration as an exciting opportunity to see what could be created collectively.
The Burl Stool is made using an Ash frame, sustainably sourced from an English timber merchants and hand carved and finished in Tom's London studio.

Made in Stoke On Trent using the finest bone china, CUSTHOM’s ceramics combine quality with graphic finesse. Research and explorations into the benefits of a tactile surface have lead us to develop a hard wearing stitch technique using thread through paper. Working with a British embroidery house, we are able to embroider directly onto non-woven fire retardant wallpaper, using polyester for high shine to ceramic cotton threads for a flat Matt finish.
The needlework provides a delicate and intricate craftsmanship to the wall coverings. Inviting to the touch and adding tonal elements of a single thread colour dependent on the angle of the viewer. This process has considerably less wastage than any print method and is solely made in the United Kingdom.
